Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020 is a trilateral programme envisaged to be implemented during financial period 2014-2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overall objective of the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020 is to strengthen the social, economic and territorial development of the cross-border area through the implementation of joint projects and activities to be supported within four priority axes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/i> Priority Axis 1 – Improving the quality of the services in public health and social care sector.
\n<\/i> Priority Axis 2 – Protecting the environment and nature, improving risk prevention and promoting sustainable energy and energy efficiency.
\n<\/i> Priority Axis 3 – Contributing to the development of tourism and preserving cultural and natural heritage.
\n<\/i> Priority Axis 4 – Enhancing competitiveness and developing business environment in the programme area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within four priority axes, the Programme defines five specific objectives that indicate specific changes that the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020 anticipates to achieve through implementation of specific actions and realization of related outputs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme area includes 12 counties on the Croatian side, Br\u010dko District and 109 municipalities on the side of Bosnia and Herzegovina and 10 municipalities on the Montenegrin side. The geographical area amounts to total of 87.453.95 km2 with 5.587.836 inhabitants within the programme area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Croatian part of the programme area covers 38.405.00 km2 and includes the following counties: Zagreb County, Sisak-Moslavina County, Karlovac County, Bjelovar-Bilogora County, Lika-Senj County, Po\u017eega-Slavonia County, Brod-Posavina County, Zadar County, \u0160ibenik-Knin County, Vukovar-Srijem County, Split-Dalmatia County and Dubrovnik-Neretva County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme area within Bosnia and Herzegovina covers 42.540.95 km2 and includes Br\u010dko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the following municipalities: Bijeljina, Teo\u010dak, Ugljevik, Lopare, Tuzla, Lukavac, \u010celi\u0107, Srebrenik, Petrovo, Gra\u010danica, Doboj Istok, Grada\u010dac, Pelagi\u0107evo, Donji \u017dabar, Ora\u0161je, Domaljevac-\u0160amac, \u0160amac, Modri\u010da, Vukosavlje, Od\u017eak, Brod, Srebrenica, Bratunac, Mili\u0107i, Han-Pijesak, Vlasenica, Kladanj, \u0160ekovi\u0107i, Kalesija, Osmaci, Zvornik, Banovi\u0107i, \u017divinice, Sapna, Prnjavor, Srbac, Lakta\u0161i, \u010celinac, Kotor Varo\u0161, Kne\u017eevo, Dobreti\u0107i, \u0160ipovo, Jajce, Jezero, Mrkonji\u0107 Grad, Banja Luka, Gradi\u0161ka, Kozarska Dubica, Prijedor, O\u0161tra Luka, Sanski Most, Klju\u010d, Ribnik, Glamo\u010d, Bosansko Grahovo, Drvar, Isto\u010dni Drvar, Petrovac, Bosanski Petrovac, Bosanska Krupa, Krupa na Uni, Novi Grad, Kostajnica, Bu\u017eim, Velika Kladu\u0161a, Cazin, Biha\u0107, Doboj, Derventa, Prozor\/Rama, Konjic, Nevesinje, Gacko, Bile\u0107a, Trebinje, Ravno, Ljubinje, Berkovi\u0107i, Mostar, Jablanica, Kupres, Kupres (RS), Tomislavgrad, Posu\u0161je, \u0160iroki Brijeg, \u010citluk, Stolac, Neum, \u010capljina, Ljubu\u0161ki, Grude, Livno, Isto\u010dni Mostar, Doboj Jug, Kakanj, Maglaj, Te\u0161anj, Usora, Zavidovi\u0107i, Zenica, \u017dep\u010de, Bugojno, Busova\u010da, Donji Vakuf, Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, Novi Travnik, Travnik, Vitez and Tesli\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Montenegrian part of the programme area covers 13.812.00 km2 and includes the municipalities as follows: Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat, Budva, Bar, Ulcinj, Cetinje, Nik\u0161i\u0107, Podgorica, Tuzi and Danilovgrad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This geographical representation of the territory covered by the Programme is without prejudice to the settlement of the dispute regarding the extension of the state border between Croatia \u2013 Bosnia and Herzegovina \u2013 Montenegro.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Programme is managed by the Managing Authority, acting within the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia. The Managing Authority is supported with respective National Authorities, Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds in Croatia, Directorate for European Integration in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration in Montenegro. Other programme bodies that make part of the Programme management structure are Joint Monitoring Committee, the programme body responsible for reviewing the effectiveness, quality and coherence of the implementation of all actions towards meeting the programme objectives, Certifying Authority, the programme body responsible for making payments to the Lead beneficiaries, Audit Authority, the programme body responsible for carrying out system audit and audit of operations and Joint Secretariat, responsible for  providing support to Managing Authority and Joint Monitoring Committee in carrying out their respective functions.
