On 19 September 2025 the Monitoring Committee of the Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro approved the results of the Report on admissibility and eligibility check of the applications received within the 2nd Call for Proposals.

After this step, 160 out of 188 applied projects have progressed to the next phase – quality assessment procedure. The total EU funds available for projects within the 2nd Call for Proposals were 29,9 million euro. The number of applications has shown the great interest for the Call as applicants have collectively requested 190.8 million euro in EU co-financing—more than six times the available budget.

This Call provided an opportunity for applicants to develop and submit innovative projects addressing key areas such as innovation, research and entrepreneurship, green investments in environmental protection and efficient risk management, health services, sustainable and inclusive tourism and culture. The number of applications received reflects the interest and enthusiasm for cross-border collaboration in the region.

All applications which did not comply with the admissibility and eligibility criteria will receive the official notification on the Monitoring Committee decision.
We take this opportunity to thank all applicants for their interest in participating in the present Call for Proposals. Please note that this was the last Call for Proposals in the designated finance period 2021 – 2027.
