Operation purpose and expected achievements:
The main objective of the DIGIHEALTH project is to improve the quality of health service for patients by implementing digital solutions in cross-border area. As part of the project, new joint cross-border digital solutions – Digihealth hub, mobile application and guidelines for post-surgery home recovery will be developed. Pilot activities of digitalization and integration of patients monitoring system in intensive care unit (ICU) in three CB area hospitals (Zadar, Mostar, Bar) will be implemented. Also, additional equipment for monitoring each patient in the intensive care unit (ICU) will be acquired, and number of devices, technologies and systems connected in one platform. New technology for cryoablation for two hospitals in cross-border area (Zadar and Mostar) will be introduced. The project will foster a resilient health care system by joint cross-border activities and innovative practices.


 

Beneficiaries:

The Lead Partner (LP), General hospital Zadar (HR), is responsible for implementing main project activities through: education and study visits, gathering knowledge and experiences for Digihealth hub, implementing new digital innovative solutions in ICU and implementing new cryoablation instruments. LP is responsible for monitoring and coordination of all project activities.


University clinical hospital of Mostar – UCH Mostar (BA) is responsible for introducing new digital solutions within hospital. Health professionals will be actively included in International Management board (IMB) activities. PP2 will enhance their own capacities and resilience by implementing main project activities.


General Hospital Bar (ME) is responsible for the formation of Intensive Care Unit for internist, endocrinology and neurological patients whose condition requires intensive care. Also, main activities are related to procurement and installation of equipment for the central station for monitoring vital parameters for all patients, with an early warning system for deviations of parameters of vital functions, procurement of a mobile application and device for additional remote monitoring of parameters of patients’ vital functions by doctors regardless of their location. Also, training or additional education for use of the equipment will be organized.


University of Mostar – Faculty of Medicine (BA) is responsible for organisation of joint cross-border education for health-care professionals (HCPs), DIGIHEALTH predictive model creation, and production of guidelines for patient home recovery. PP4 will be in charge of project communication and social marketing.
