At the conference “Croatian Emigration and Economic Development: Specifics and Opportunities”, held from October 13 to 15, 2025, in Osijek, representatives of the Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA presented two Interreg projects — APOLLO and RECIRCLE — which share a common goal of promoting sustainable and innovative regional development.

The APOLLO Project focuses on advancing renewable energy solutions and supporting the transition towards energy independence, while the RECIRCLE Project promotes the circular economy and sustainable waste management in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.

Both projects demonstrate how Interreg cooperation contributes to building resilient, green, and connected regions.

Organized by the Ministry of Demography and Emigration, the conference gathered entrepreneurs, experts, and members of the Croatian diaspora, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and future collaboration.
