As part of the Pilot Action: Improved separate waste collection in the City of Zadar, City of Bihać, Municipality of Vitez and Municipality of Zeta, the RECIRCLE project proudly announces the installation of modern waste containers across the City of Zadar.
A total of 15 sets of above-ground containers and 14 sets of semi-underground containers now serve the city’s busiest residential areas, replacing older containers and bringing a fresh, efficient approach to waste management.
The containers cater to:
• Mixed municipal waste
• Recyclable waste
• Paper and cardboard
• Biowaste
This Pilot Action not only improves infrastructure but also brings waste separation closer to citizens, encouraging everyday responsible habits and making public spaces cleaner and more enjoyable.
With this upgrade, the RECIRCLE project sparks positive change, demonstrating how modern waste solutions and community engagement can work together to build a sustainable, circular future.
