Delivery of the first 5 exhibition sculptures of native flora and fauna, representing the northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina region, has significantly enhanced the educational and interpretative value of the tourism facilities planned within the PA.CON II project.
These sculptures will enrich the renovated and equipped Visitor Center and the Ilinčica Nature Park House, enabling visitors to learn about some of the most recognizable species of local biodiversity. Their installation improves the visitor experience, supports environmental education and increases the attractiveness of the sites for recreational visitors and organized educational groups. They also represent an important step toward completing the exhibition that will consist of 20 sculptures of native birds and other animals that will be produced and exhibited in next few months, gradually building a comprehensive and distinctive interpretative offer that highlights the richness of the area’s natural heritage.
The sculptures were designed and installed within of the PA.CON II project, co-financed through the Interreg VI-A IPA Programme CBC Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027, with the support of the ERDF and IPA III funds of the European Union.
