The training on the use of software for monitoring electricity, heating energy and water consumption in public buildings was organized within the project “Sport Facilities Green Energy – SINERGY”, implemented by the Center for Ecology and Energy from Tuzla, with the support and partnership of the City of Tuzla.

Representatives of 11 public institutions from the City of Tuzla participated in the training. The objective of the training was to raise awareness and strengthen the capacities of representatives of public enterprises and public institutions in the field of sustainable management of facilities and energy resources. As part of the training, software for monitoring electricity, heating energy and water consumption in public buildings was presented as a practical tool for more efficient consumption management and data-driven decision-making.

The software was developed within the SINERGY project and is currently used at the Sports and Cultural-Business Center Mejdan in Tuzla, as well as in sports centers in Vukovar and Herceg Novi. The project envisages that, following the training, this software will also be adopted and used by other public enterprises and public institutions in the City of Tuzla, thereby creating conditions for systematic monitoring of consumption and improving the energy efficiency of public buildings.

This training represents an important step towards creating an energy-aware and sustainable local community that, through knowledge, responsible behavior and concrete measures, contributes to environmental protection and the more rational use of public resources.

The training was organized within the “Sport Facilities Green Energy – SINERGY” project, implemented as part of the Interreg VI-A IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027, and financed by the European Union. Project partners include the City of Tuzla, the Public Institution for the Management of Sports Facilities of the City of Vukovar “Sports Facilities Vukovar”, the Municipality of Herceg Novi, and the Center for Ecology and Energy Tuzla.
