On 6 June 2025, at 15:00, the 2nd Call for Proposals within the Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia–Bosnia and Herzegovina–Montenegro 2021–2027 was officially closed. The Call, which was launched on 6 March 2025, to support joint projects aimed at strengthening cooperation between Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro has received 188 applications.

The total EU funds available for projects within the 2nd Call for proposals were 29.926.000 euro. This Call provided an opportunity for applicants to develop and submit innovative projects addressing key areas such as innovation, research and entrepreneurship, green investments in environmental protection and efficient risk, health services, sustainable and inclusive tourism and culture. The number of applications received reflects the interest and enthusiasm for cross-border collaboration in the region.

After publishing of this Call, a series of Information workshops were held across the three countries. These workshops aimed to provide guidance and support to potential applicants, helping them navigate the application process and understand the priorities of the Programme. The workshops were well-attended and played a crucial role in ensuring that stakeholders were well-equipped to submit quality proposals.

The Programme would like to extend its sincere thanks to all applicants for their hard work and dedication in submitting their proposals. We wish to all the best of luck as the evaluation process moves forward, and we look forward to seeing the impactful projects that will result from this Call.

With the closure of this Call, the Programme will begin the process of evaluating the proposals. The selected projects will be those that demonstrate the greatest potential for enhancing cross-border cooperation and contributing to the development of both countries.
