The kick-off Conference for the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro project ClimBeach took place on 25 October 2024. Conference was organized by the University of Split, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy (UNIST-FGAG), which serves as the lead partner in the project consortium.
The overall objective of the ClimBeach project is to create unique digital solution to tackle negative climate change impacts along the beach areas and to increase beach resilience to the erosion and flooding the coastal project area. Project consortium consists of five partners in total: University of Split, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy (lead partner), The Regional Development Agency Dubrovnik-Neretva County DUNEA, Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management of Montenegro JPMD, University of Mostar and Municipality of Neum.
Project duration is 36 months and total budget is EUR 1,785,195.60.
