On 17 October 2024 Rural Initiatives for Enhancement of the Preventive Healthcare – RISE-UP project partners gathered in Ljubuški for the kick-off conference and meeting.
The consortium of the RISE-UP project consists of the following partners: the lead partner is the Public Institution Healthcare Center Ljubuški (BIH), the project partners are the Healthcare Center Metković (HR), Public Institution Healthcare Center Zenica (BIH) and Public Institution Healthcare Center Tivat (CG).
The project’s overall objective is to foster cooperation between partners from rural regions of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro to enhance the quality of healthcare services, preventive healthcare and accessibility for vulnerable and marginalized groups. This will be achieved through the purchase of new medical equipment and vehicles, implementation of ICT solutions, organization of preventive examinations, organization of educational workshops about prevention for the general public, education for healthcare professionals and other activities.
During the kick-off meeting, partners have discussed their progress and plans for the upcoming period. After the meeting, the lead partner showed the premises of the Public Institution Healthcare Center Ljubuški to other project partners and presented the organization and scope of services they provide.
