The kick-off conference of the SmartProtect project was held on 26 October 2024, at the Public Institution Fire Service Center for Education and Technological Development Split-Vučevica.
The main goal of the project is to further enhance the capacities of emergency service organizations in the region and increase cross-border efficiency in responding to natural and man-made disasters, primarily focusing on forest fires, land degradation, illegal waste dumping, and sea pollution.
