In July 2021 Inclusive Growth Network lunched the Inclusive Growth Postcards campaign – the aim is to showcase the best social impact projects in the following themes: Ageing, Health, Employment and Youth. Furthermore, the purpose of the postcards is to highlight that Interreg effectively tackles real social issues within regions cooperating in Interreg projects.
We are happy to inform you that among 46 selected projects is the project We Care (Theme: Ageing) co-financed within Interreg IPA CBC Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020.
The project We Care successfully tackles the problem of the insufficient institutional capacities for elderly with activities complementing the age-friendly environment of the day centers that value the resources, knowledge, and experience of older people. Through the activities of the project two such ‘Daily Centers for the Elderly’ were opened, one in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and one in the city of Garešnica (Croatia).
