Interreg IPA CBC programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro presented at the Evaluation Update event

Evaluation update event was organised on 26 May by Interact team with the aim to discuss evaluations of programmes’ activities in 2014-2020, changes that were implemented as a result of the evaluations, and how will they influence the future programme in the period 2021-2027.

Interreg IPA CBC programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2014-2020 was invited to present its Evaluation of efficiency and effectiveness, carried out in 2019.

Ms Danijela Merkler, Programme Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Officer, presented the Programme evaluation and its recommendations, and shared experiences and good practices that the Programme has implemented as a result of evaluation recommendations.

She and Mr Nicola Brignani, external evaluator who performed the evaluation, participated at the open discussion round, together with Mr David Alba from DG REGIO Evaluation Unit within European Commission.

Both the discussion and the event were very useful and valuable since they enabled to look at the evaluations done and changes made from the different perspectives – the programme’s, the evaluator’s and the view of the DG REGIO Evaluation Unit. The conclusions, suggestions and ideas shared will be helpful also in the preparation and implementation of the new Interreg IPA Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021-2027.
