As part of ĆIRO II project, a promotional bicycle tour will be organized on Sunday, 8 May 2022, to promote outdoor tourism along the former railway that connects Ravno and Trebinje. The 90 km long bicycle tour starts in Ravno, towards beautiful touristic town of Trebinje, and back to Ravno. It is planned that participants visit old and abandoned Ćiro’s stations along the old narrow-gauge railway and an exhibit of old “Ćiro” train in front of railway station in Trebinje. Cyclists will visit the old town Trebinje with local guides.
Project team plans to present to cyclists and guests all the cultural and historical sites that Ćiro’s route offers. Join us on Sunday and enjoy the beautiful weather, fresh air and pleasant company.
Gathering and departure is on 8 May 2022 starting at 11:00 am in front of the Gostiona Zavala in Ravno.

The ĆIRO II project – “Cross-border thematic tourist destination: Old narrow-gauge railway ĆIRO” is funded by the European Union under the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2014-2020. The project is implemented in cooperation with three partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro with the Municipality of Ravno as the Lead partner. The total value of the project is EUR 1,770,362.68, of which the European Union financed EUR 1,504,808.26.
