Green Agenda in Action in Montenegro

In light of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans and striving to make at least a symbolic contribution to the Agenda goals, the European Integration Office has used the funds available through the Interreg IPA Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020 and procured an electric car, a number of e-bikes and electric scooters to be used by its employees for their everyday work  activities’’, explained Chief Negotiator Zorka Kordić at the event Green Agenda in Action, organized by the European Integration Office in Montenegro.

The Montenegro’s Chief Negotiator Zorka Kordić noted that green transition requires all the citizens to be involved and act with an adequate level of responsibility, which is exactly what the European Integration Office employees want to demonstrate. During the event the employees organized a promotional ride in order to draw the public’s attention to benefits of electromobility which has significant environmental and health effects.
