Kick off conference of project CUHaCHA

On 5 November 2020 Zadar County organized Kick off conference of project CUHaCHA – „EnhanCing Sustainable ToUrism Development througH Culinary HeritAge“.

Research of culinary heritage, recipes and old methods of food preparation, development of culinary heritage trails, fitting out traditional kitchens, one in each partner country through which culinary heritage of project areas will be promoted during various cooking classes, are only several of many activities planned witihin the project.

In the context of the project, it is important to mention that even six products that originate from Zadar County area have Designation of origin which only proves that this project is an extension of already existing initiatives with the goal to value and protect what makes this area recognizable.

Project CUHaCHA is co-financed through Interreg IPA CBC Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2014-2020. Total project value is 710.946,94 € and the project will be implemented for 24 months.

Lead partner is Zadar County Rural Development Agency – AGRRA, other partners are Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Herzegovina – Neretva Canton, Municipality of Tivat and Zadar County.
