As part of project ERI-Health – „Public Health Preparedness for Cross-border Epidemics and Emergencies“, co-financed through the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2014-2020, project partners Public Health Institute of the Republic of Srpska, Public Health Institute of Montenegro and Public Health Institute of Sisak-Moslavina County procured laboratory equipment in total value of EUR 320.000.
Public Health Institute of the Republic of Srpska, as the Lead Partner of project, procured PCR device, which will further facilitate the work of diagnosing coronavirus, as well as a vehicle for transport of samples in the cold chain system.
In accordance with the project budget, the Public Health Institute of Montenegro procured laboratory equipment, which includes two PCR devices, tests and consumables, while the Public Health Institute of Sisak-Moslavina County procured PCR devices and DNA extractors.
Project overall objective is to improve quality and accessibility of public health services in cross-border epidemics and emergencies.
