RESPONSa project team, consisting of project partners Croatian geological survey, Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering and Geological Survey of Montenegro, has visited the locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro where pilot polygons for landslide monitoring will be established.
At the selected locations rain gauges will be installed, shallow exploration wells will be set and detailed engineering geological prospection will be performed. The terrain will be prepared for periodical landslide monitoring by UAV aircraft.
In addition to the project partners, members of local Civil protection joined the trip and shared their experiences related to geohazards and offered the assistance to determine the real model that should facilitate the launch of preventive measures in order to save human lives and their properties.
