NeurNet Final conference held in Mostar on 13 July 2020

Final conference of project NeurNet was held on 13 July 2020 in Mostar. Due to epidemiological conditions caused by coronavirus, partners from Croatia and Montenegro attended this event via online platform.

The aim of the conference was to exchange experiences and good practices and define steps for the continuation of cross-border cooperation between the Republic of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro in the health sector, with special emphasis on cooperation in the field of neurology.

In his welcome speech, the Minister of Health in Federation of BiH, prof. dr. Vjekoslav Mandić addressed the audience and pointed out that the NeurNet project is one of the most important projects in the field of health, when it comes to the use of IPA funds, and thanked the European Union for its support.

Dženita Hukić, project manager, presented the project results and emphasized its cross-border value in terms of improving the quality of services to patients with epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease. Other project partners also presented their specific activities and achievements of project goals.

Medical experts involved in project activities had opportunity to share their knowledge and best practices in implementation of NeurNet model.

Having in mind the successful cooperation in the realization of the goals of this project, the conference participants expressed their commitment to continue cooperation with the aim of improving health systems in the cross-border region.
