Project HEPSC kicked off!

The online kick-off meeting of the project HEPSC – „Healthy Eathing Preschools Children“ took place on 16 December 2020. The aim of the meeting was to present the project, planned results, activities and partner consortium to all participants. The meeting was attended by Mr Miodrag Račeta, Head of the Department for European Territorial Cooperation of the European Integration Office of Montenegro, Ms Olivera Mujović, deputy Director of from the Public Preschool Institution “Vukosava Ivanović Mašanović” from Bar (Montenegro), project expert associates, representatives of project partners and members of project teams of all partner institutions.

The project is financed by EU through Interreg IPA CBC Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020. The total value of the project is EUR 657 923,36 EUR, out of which EUR 559 234,85 is co-financed by the EU.

Primary Health Care Center Bar is the Lead Partner, and other partners on the project are: Institute of Public Health Šibenik-Knin County, Institute of Public Health of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Labour, Health, Social Welfare and Displaced Persons of Herzeg – Bosnia Canton. The project aims to improve children’s eating habits and overall health by raising awareness of the need to adopt healthy eating habits in preschool population and to improve the system of quality control and food safety in preschool institutions.
