The Programme in cooperation with the National Authority in Montenegro – European Integration Office, celebrated European Cooperation Day 2020 and 30 years of Interreg programmes on 30 September 2020 by planting 10 trees.
The celebration was attended by the main negotiator and national IPA coordinator, Mr Aleksandar Drljević, Mr Herman Spic, Head of the Cooperation Department at the EU Delegation in Montenegro and the representatives from the National Authority in Montenegro – European Integration Office. The participants jointly planted 10 magnolia and linden trees in front of the European Integration Office in Podgorica (Montenegro), which are a sustainable reminder of the numerous successful projects and cooperation.
Through Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2014 – 2020, a total of 30 trees will be planted in three countries, which symbolically represent 30 years of Interreg programmes and one of the themes of the celebration – Greener and climate neutral Europe.
