Municipality of Nijemci, as the Lead Partner of project Pannonia-Adria Connection (PA.CON), held a 30-day online education „Tourist Destination Management“ for the Croatian participants from 13 December 2021 to 3 February 2022.
Participants acquired knowledge in the areas of tourism destination management, such as: self-sustainable tourism destination management, specificity of management of urban, coastal, and rural tourist destinations, destination management organisation, co-partners/interest groups in destination management, co-partners theory application in destination management.
Participants also received a perception about what makes a modern destination today, how to manage it strategically and self-sustainable, as well as which processes, positive solutions and challenges are encountered. The guest lecturers from private and public sector spoke from experience about all the challenges and how to overcome it.
At the end of the education participants received Participation certificate and had an opportunity to tour through Municipality of Nijemci tourist offer.
PA.CON project is implemented within Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020. The project is co-financed by ERDF and IPA II funds of the European Union funds.
