Development Agency of Tešanj Municipality – TRA ltd. (BA), Lead partner, is responsible for development of innovative social care services for persons with developmental disabilities (PWD’s) and their families in the Municipality of Tešanj through establishment of greenhouse production as one form of work therapy. Apart of greenhouse production, Lead Partner will include PWDs in different kinds of sports as a therapy for better inclusion of these categories in society. During this project the TRA will establish a cooperation and connection with project partners in order to promote inter-destination collaboration and to share best practices in social care services for persons (especially children) with developmental disabilities and their families. Lead partner’s expected benefit of the project is capacity building and imposing itself as the initiator of modern social care services in the Municipality of Tešanj.

Josip Matos Primary School (HR) is responsible for development of social care services for persons with developmental disabilities (PWD’s) and their families (parents, caregivers) in Vukovar-srijem County through establishment of candle and herb production as one form of work therapy. Family members and teachers will be educated for candle and herb production, and materials and equipment for establishment of candle and herb production will be provided by the project. Also, additional education for teachers and parents will be organized to improve their skills to work with PWD’s. Project partner is responsible for project promotion which will be carried out through social media, local media and through promotion materials which will be distributed on conferences and meetings. Project partner’s expected benefit of the project is to improve social care services for PWD’s in Vukovar-srijem County and to improve parents’ and teachers’ skills and capacities for everyday life with persons with developmental disabilities.

Association for Help to Mentally and Physically Disabled Persons – UZPD (ME) is responsible for providing specialistic treatments to people with disabilities from Nikšić (psychological, physical, logopedic etc.), organizing music therapy workshops, as well as providing various trainings and education for PWDs and their family members in order to improve their skills and competencies. 4 PWDs and their family members will learn how to make souvenirs and with gained skills they will be more competitive in labor market. UZPD is responsible for organization of Games Without Borders in Nikšić for children with developmental disabilities. Together with project partners, UZPD will exchange best practices in social care services and work on improving the quality and content of social services for persons with developmental disabilities.

Public institution for children and adults with special needs of Zenica-Doboj Canton –  JU “Center ZDK” (BA) will have an advisory and active role on how to work efficiently and effectively with children and adults with disabilities, since their core activity is based on improving the quality of life of persons with developmental disabilities. Project partner is responsible for organizing workshops on making souvenirs with CNC machine for PWD’s and their family members as a form of work therapy and to improve their integration into society.  JU Center Zenica is also responsible for development of software application for creating database on PWDs in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, as well as to provide information on available services for PWDs.
