About

The main objective of the NAUTICA CBC project is to strengthen, diversify and integrate the cross-border tourism offer in the Programme area through the development of a new tourism product, and the adoption of new knowledge and sectoral skills. As part of the project, an innovative mobile application will be developed for boaters and tourists without cars. Also, training will be held for 60 people from Croatia and Montenegro in the field of quality assurance and destination management. One of the most important activities is the improvement of tourist infrastructure for nautical and car-free tourism in Stari Grad (HR) and Kotor (ME), through the purchase of equipment, as well as the development and promotion of traditional gastronomy in the cross-border area through a digital interactive cookbook “Taste of Tradition”, which will be part of a joint mobile application for nautical tourists “NAUTICA CBC”.

Partners

The Lead Partner (LP), University of Zagreb Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences (HR), is responsible for mapping, benchmarking and evaluation of objects of nautical tourists and car-less mobile tourists interest (with joint engagenment of all project partners) and for developing innovative joint mobile application “NAUTICA CBC” for nautical and car-less mobile tourists. The Lead Partner coordinates project partners in day-to-day implementation of activities to ensure effective project implementation.

University of Montenegro (ME) is responsible for coordination and implementation of learning materials for two modules on Montenegrin, Croatian and English language (Module Safety and Security and Module Marketing of Destination Management), education/training and exchange of best practice on quality assurance in nautical tourism by implementing two educations/trainings. Project partner is also engaged in performing of mapping, benchmarking and evaluation of objects of nautical tourists and car-less mobile tourists interest and organisation of communication activity – NAUTICA CBC Promo Tour in Kotor.

Split and Dalmatia County Port authority (HR) is responsible for procurement of equipment for nautical / car-less tourists and all other tourists: totem, solar benches, electric bicycles with equipment. Equipment will be maintained annually on regular basis and intensively promoted during project implementation. Also, project partner will organize NAUTICA CBC Final conference in Stari Grad.

Tourism organisation of Kotor (ME) is responsible for procurement of equipment for nautical / car-less tourists and all other tourists: boards, interactive bus stop, solar benches, electric bicycles with equipment, bicycle holders and lockers. The equipment will be maintained annually on regular basis and intensively promoted during project implementation. Project partner will also be responsible for impelemntation of all joint project activities.
