Conference was organized by EKO – DUNAV d.o.o. for the communal economy which serves as the lead partner in the project consortium. This conference also marked the official presentation of the project “Enhancing Cross-Border Waste Management through Sustainable Practices“. The conference gathered key stakeholders in the area of waste management in the cross-border region as construction waste is increasingly becoming one of the main polluters.
Project duration is 24 months and total budget is EUR 841.445,40.
The main goal of this project is to improve sustainable development and environmental preservation in the Borovo and Brod Municipalities by applying innovative models and approaches to waste management through the repurposing of construction waste as a material for improving road development and by encouraging responsible waste management practices.
