RECIRCLE Educational Workshops on Circular Economy Held for Kids in Central Bosnia

As part of the RECIRCLE project, educational workshops titled “Secrets of Good Things – Basics of the Circular Economy for the Youngest” were successfully held on 23 and 24 October 2025 at kindergartens PU Vrtić Sveti Josip (in Vitez) and JU Obdanište Travnik, two preschools in Central Bosnia Canton. 

The workshops brought together preschool-aged children for interactive and playful learning activities focused on sustainable waste management, including waste separation, recycling, and reuse. Through practical exercises and engaging storytelling, the participants gained insight into how small everyday actions can contribute to environmental protection and resource efficiency.

The initiative aims to raise environmental awareness from an early age and foster a sense of responsibility towards nature and the community. By introducing circular economy concepts in a playful and accessible manner, the workshops encourage children to develop sustainable habits that will benefit their communities in the long term.
