RECIRCLE Education for Children Held in Bihać

On 27 October 2025, within the framework of the RECIRCLE – Improvement of the capacities of waste management system for implementing circular economy principles project, another educational workshop was successfully conducted in Bihać with third-grade pupils of “Harmani II” Primary School. 

The activity was part of the project’s educational programme aimed at raising environmental awareness among children and encouraging responsible waste management habits from an early age. Through engaging games and hands-on learning, the students explored what waste really is, how it can be sorted and reused, and how simple actions can lead to meaningful environmental impact.

This workshop once again highlighted the importance of early education in building awareness of circular economy principles and fostering community responsibility. The RECIRCLE project continues to invest in knowledge and awareness as key steps towards sustainable and resource-efficient waste management in the programme area.
