Operation purpose and expected achievements:
The gaming industry is one of the fastest growing industries today, hence the main goal of the CBC GAIN project is the development of the gaming industry in the region, by improving the existing gaming centre in Croatia and establishing two new centres in BiH and Montenegro. A work methodology document will be created for all 3 Game Centres, a new gaming IT equipment and software solution procured and trainings for staff organized. During the project implementation an educational programme (Curricula) will be developed for game developers, artists and designers (as well as existing and potential entrepreneurs) which will be transformed into a syllabus that will remain as a permanent service for existing and new game centres. Within the project lifetime a pilot action Marketplace for game industry will be implemented. Marketplace will represent a useful tool that will support diverse businesses activities in the gaming industry, such as labour market opportunities, education, networking, promotion, and etc.
Beneficiaries:
The Lead Partner (LP), The development agency of the Sisak-Moslavina County SI-MO-RA (HR) has the primary role to transfer know-how in the field of establishing and developing gaming centres. Also, LP will be responsible for overall implementation of project activities, providing inputs to external experts in mapping of key stakeholders, organization of workshops for stakeholders from game industry and stakeholders from other sectors, coordination of marketplace development and organization of diverse type of educations, as well as study trip for stakeholders and project partners.
Foundation for Innovation and Technology Development (BiH) will coordinate implementation of all activities from their region, organize diverse trainings, and events for project promotion and involvement of target groups. PP2 will also be responsible for creation of educational programme for game developers, artists and designers, creation of promotional materials, and procurement of IT equipment for Gaming Centre.
ICT Cluster for Information Technologies, Innovation, Education, Design and Technology Development (ME) is responsible for development of work methodology document for all project partners, training organisation: Unity and Blender Hackathon, procurement of IT equipment for Gaming Centre.
