AIdEE

Priority Axis 2: Green investments in environmental protection and efficient risk management
Operation start date: 1 June 2026
Operation completion date: 31 May 2028
Budget: EUR 1.297.350,50
Number of partners: 5

Operation purpose and expected achievements:
The AIdEE project aims to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from public buildings across Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro by introducing innovative digital solutions and energy-saving measures. The project addresses the challenges of high energy consumption, outdated heating systems, and insufficient monitoring capacities by developing an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tool for predictive maintenance and optimisation of building performance. Through the preparation of Energy Efficiency Plans, the creation of a GIS-based database, and the implementation of pilot investments, the project will support local authorities in improving energy management and reducing operational costs. Planned measures include the installation of heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, smart meters, SCADA systems, and energy-efficient LED lighting in selected public buildings. By combining advanced technologies, practical improvements, and knowledge exchange among partners, AIdEE will create transferable solutions for sustainable energy management and contribute to the green transition of the Programme area.
