Operation start date: 1 June 2026
Operation completion date: 31 May 2028
Budget: EUR 1.167.403,20
Number of partners: 5

Operation purpose and expected achievements:
The ERIT project aims to strengthen research, innovation, and technology transfer capacities of the respective academic and business support institutions in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro by addressing common structural gaps in technology transfer such as weak faculty-level support structures, limited industry-academia exchange, and fragmented innovation ecosystems. The project will establish three Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) in Split, Zenica, and Podgorica, connected through digital collaboration platform to facilitate knowledge exchange, innovation, and cross-border cooperation. Through pilot activities, capacity-building programmes, workshops, study visits, and Industry 5.0 initiatives, ERIT will enhance collaboration between research institutions, businesses, and innovation support organisations while ensuring integrated regional technology transfer ecosystem with long-term, cross-border impact. By strengthening technology transfer infrastructure, fostering regional networking, and improving the innovation capacities of key stakeholders, the project will contribute to a more competitive, innovative, and sustainable Programme area.
