INTERA Technology Park organized a conference titled “Gaming for New Generations: Opening New Opportunities for the Development of the Gaming Industry in the Region,” which took place on 5 November 2024 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A new chapter for the gaming industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro was opened with the kick-off conference for the GAIN Project in Mostar. The event gathered industry leaders, experts, and enthusiasts to highlight the region’s potential to leverage gaming as an engine for job creation, innovation, and educational transformation.
This conference also marked the official presentation of the project “Investing in the Future: Gaming for New Generations CBC GAIN,” through which a Gaming Development Center will be established in Mostar. The project began implementation on 15 August 12024, with the leading partner being the Development Agency of the Sisak-Moslavina County, SI-MO-RA d.o.o. Project partners, along with INTERA Technology Park, include ICT Cortex – ICT Cluster for Information Technologies from Montenegro.
The GAIN project aims to strengthen the local gaming scene, provide young developers and creatives access to necessary resources, and create opportunities for collaboration between businesses, institutions, and organizations in the region.
Project duration is 24 months and total budget is EUR 858,279.00.
