From September 23 to 25, 2025, a training session titled “Digital Posting as a Form of Marketing in the Tourism Sector” was held in Tuzla within of the Pannonia-Adria Connection II (PA.CON II) project.

The training brought together representatives of key tourism organizations, service providers, as well as members of associations and networks involved in promoting tourism potential in the PA.CON II project’s target areas. These include the Tuzla Canton region in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vukovar-Srijem County in Croatia and the areas surrounding Lovćen National Park in Montenegro.

Led by an experienced expert in digital marketing, participants engaged in hands-on sessions and gained practical skills in:

  • Utilizing social media for tourism promotion,
  • Creating and optimizing business profiles and pages,
  • Writing effective and targeted content (copywriting),
  • Using hashtags, emojis, and choosing the right posting times,
  • Designing visual content with examples of good and bad practices,
  • Applying digital tools for content and visual creation (LIVE workshop).

Participants expressed strong interest in the training and highlighted its value:

“The training helped me enhance my knowledge of advertising through digital channels. It was especially useful to learn new skills related to the use of AI in digital marketing.”

“In addition to learning about new digital advertising tools, the most valuable part was networking with fellow service providers from the region, exchanging experiences, and learning through practical examples.”

The training in Tuzla further strengthened collaboration among project partners and laid the foundation for a modern, coordinated approach to promoting the shared tourism offering across this cross-border area.
