To 0 Waste project aims to improve basic conditions for implementing circular economy policies in the Municipality of Tuzi (ME), Municipality of Konavle (HR) and City of Mostar (BA) by investing in the required waste management equipment. Apart from that, it is planned to revitalize illegal landfills locations in the project area, including installation of video surveillance for prevention of creation of illegal landfills.
Municipality of Konavle is responsible for procurement of specialized equipment for collection and separation of waste, remediation and greening of 5 locations and setting up of video surveillance on 10 locations for prevention of creation of illegal landfills, organisation of practical training on circular economy for all relevant stakeholders, launching a media campaign aimed at promoting separation of waste, and organisation of waste recycling education in 2 high schools in Konavle.
