The Municipality of Konavle successfully implemented a two-day workshop within the TO0WASTE project, bringing together project teams, key local stakeholders, and representatives of partner local governments.

The workshop was attended by representatives of the Municipality of Konavle, the City of Mostar, and the Municipality of Tuzi, together with representatives from the public, municipal, civil society, and private sectors of the three local communities. Through the exchange of experiences, examples of good practices, and interactive sessions, participants discussed the principles of the circular economy and modern, sustainable approaches to waste management.

As part of the workshop, participants also visited the Konavle Recycling Centre, where they had the opportunity to learn more about the facility’s operations and attend a presentation on its work, including waste management processes and its role in improving sustainable waste management practices within the Municipality of Konavle.
This workshop highlights the importance of cross-border cooperation in developing innovative solutions that contribute to waste reduction, strengthening local capacities, and creating a greener and more sustainable future for our communities — step by step.
