The RECIRCLE project was presented on 17 September 2026 at the Street Food Festival in Podgorica, attracting around 1,000 visitors throughout the event.
During the evening, citizens had the opportunity to learn more about the project and engage with representatives of Čistoća d.o.o. Podgorica. Discussions focused on the importance of proper waste disposal, separate waste collection, recycling and reuse, as well as reducing food waste and using resources more responsibly. These everyday practices play an important role in conserving resources and protecting the environment.
Promotional and educational materials were also distributed to visitors, helping to bring practical information on responsible waste management closer to the local community.
Events such as this provide a valuable opportunity to discuss environmental protection directly with citizens – in the places where they live, work and spend their leisure time – and to complement institutional communication and awareness-raising activities.
Through RECIRCLE, partners are working to strengthen awareness that waste is not simply something to be discarded, but a resource that can, when properly managed, be reused, recycled or returned to the production cycle.
RECIRCLE continues to support the transition towards more responsible waste management practices, cleaner communities and a more circular future.
