On 11 September 2026, the City of Bihać presented the RECIRCLE and SMART DeCARB projects during the EKOBIS Fair in Bihać, bringing information about sustainable development and EU-funded initiatives closer to citizens and visitors.
As part of the event, visitors were introduced to the basic principles of the circular economy and their application in the work of public institutions and businesses, with a focus on the rational use of resources and practices that contribute to sustainable development.
Attention was given to activities supporting separate waste collection, recycling and reuse, as well as educational initiatives aimed at encouraging sustainable practices within local communities.
The promotional event was also an opportunity to present the progress and activities carried out within RECIRCLE and highlight the importance of active community involvement in improving waste management and making more responsible use of resources.
