The RECIRCLE project team at Čistoća d.o.o. Podgorica organised an Info Day and community clean-up action in Tološi, Podgorica, bringing together project partners, volunteers and local residents for a practical activity promoting responsible waste management.
The activity took place in the public area between the Čistoća Recycling Yard and Urbana bašta and was organised in cooperation with Zero Waste Montenegro, the Secretariat for Local Self-Government and Cooperation with the Civil Sector, Zelenilo d.o.o. Podgorica, volunteers from Urbana bašta and local residents who joined the action.
During the clean-up, improperly disposed waste was removed from the area, while part of the collected waste was sorted separately and delivered to the Čistoća Recycling Yard. The activity provided participants with a practical demonstration of the importance of waste separation at source and showed how materials can be reused and recycled instead of being treated simply as waste.
By combining awareness-raising with practical community action, our RECIRCLE project continues to promote responsible waste management, more efficient resource use and active citizen participation in creating cleaner and more sustainable local environments.
