As part of the CrossWaste project, EKO – DUNAV company from the Borovo municipality has acquired a machine for crushing construction waste, enabling, for the first time in this area, the systematic processing of construction waste and its transformation into a useful resource.

This significantly reduces the amount of waste that would otherwise end up in nature, while simultaneously creating high-quality recycled material to be reused for the arrangement and maintenance of field roads.

This investment represents an important step forward for the community, as it not only strengthens local infrastructure but also introduces a completely new approach to waste management—one based on the principles of the circular economy and responsible use of resources. In the video, viewers can see the process of material crushing and preparation for embankment, demonstrating how waste becomes a valuable raw material and part of a sustainable solution for the future of the area.

These activities are part of the CrossWaste project, implemented within the INTERREG VI-A IPA Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027 programme.
