PA.CON II New Educational Content on Children’s playgrounds in Tuzla

As part of the implementation of the PA.CON II project, the City of Tuzla has successfully completed the process of purchasing and installing special memory boards with bird motives on children’s playgrounds. The memory boards have been installed on 10 children’s playgrounds in the City of Tuzla, and this represents a very important activity within the overall improvement of infrastructure for children.

The interactive boards installed are not just decoration but are carefully designed to provide children with a space to play and recognize different species of birds that adorn our region. In this way, the youngest citizens learn about the importance of nature and the biodiversity that surrounds us through fun.

The boards represent a combination of play and learning because they serve children to develop cognitive skills and make it easier to recognize birds in nature.

Through the PA.CON II project, Tuzla continues its path towards positioning itself as a modern and responsible tourist destination that cares about the needs of children. The City of Tuzla, through the PA.CON II project, remains committed to creating an environment in which children can safely play, learn and grow with direct contact with educational content.

Also, as part of the project, the City of Tuzla has successfully completed another significant activity – the procurement and installation of 7 “Nest Swings” for children’s playgrounds throughout the city.

This activity represents an important step forward in improving infrastructure for children, with a special focus on creating an accessible and safe environment for little ones. Unlike standard swings, these are specially adapted for children with disabilities, allowing them safe and equal participation in play. The wide “nest” design enables multiple children to play together simultaneously, encouraging socialization, empathy, and a sense of community from an early age.

Through the realization of this activity, Tuzla further positions itself as a responsible tourist and social destination that cares for the needs of all its youngest citizens and visitors. The City of Tuzla, through the PA.CON II project, remains permanently committed to creating an environment in which every child can safely play, learn, and grow, feeling truly welcome.
