As part of the RECIRCLE project, two promotional events were organised on July 28 and 29 2026 in Bihać and Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, bringing the project and its objectives closer to local communities while encouraging dialogue on sustainable waste management and the circular economy.

During the events, information stands were set up in the city centres, where visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the RECIRCLE project, its activities and the benefits it brings to the programme area.

Special attention was given to the principles of the circular economy, with a focus on separate waste collection, recycling, reuse, and responsible waste management. Visitors also learned about RECIRCLE pilot activities and how the project contributes to improving waste management systems through practical solutions and public awareness initiatives.

Interactive activities encouraged participants to test their knowledge of environmental protection and circular economy principles, making the events both informative and engaging for visitors of all ages.

These promotional events once again demonstrated the importance of direct communication with citizens in raising environmental awareness and encouraging communities to play an active role in building a cleaner, more sustainable future.
