As part of the RISE-UP project, a first aid workshop was organized by the Public Health Institution Dom zdravlja Ljubuški on 30th January 2026.

The workshop focused on responding to life-threatening situations, including sudden cardiac and respiratory arrest, traffic accidents, falls, and other emergencies where timely and correct first aid can save lives. Participants included not only workshop attendees but also members of the Ljubuški Fire Brigade and police officers from the Ljubuški Police Department, highlighting the importance of cooperation among all first responders.

During the workshop, participants learned practical techniques for providing first aid in various emergency scenarios. Group exercises allowed them to apply their knowledge, discuss challenges, and exchange experiences, strengthening collaboration between different emergency services.

At the end of the workshop, participants expressed their gratitude to Dom zdravlja Ljubuški for the invitation, the high-quality training, and the ongoing investment in the knowledge, skills, and readiness of emergency services that daily protect citizens’ health and safety.
