SMART STEP New Equipment Enables Students to Learn About Hybrid Vehicle Engines

Within the framework of the cross-border project “SMART Solutions in Energy Transition of Productive businesses – SMART STEP“, Brod-Posavina County has procured a hybrid vehicle engine cross-section.

This procurement is part of the modernization process of equipment in secondary schools, aimed at introducing advanced technologies into the educational system.

The device is intended as a specialized teaching tool for the students of the “Industrijsko-obrtnička škola Slavonski Brod” and is extremely important for developing skills required in the modern labor market. In this way, the SMART STEP project directly prepares students for practical work and green jobs of the future, while ensuring a professional, technologically prepared workforce in Brod-Posavina County.

SMART STEP is the title of a 2.3 million euro cross-border project co-funded under the Interreg VI-A IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021-2027
