As part of the “WATERLINK” project, the Herceg Novi Water and Sewerage Company has procured 80 remotely read flow meters, which will soon be installed across the city’s water supply network and reservoirs. This project enables the acquisition of essential equipment for fault detection, system monitoring through real-time tracking of flow and pressure data, as well as a specialized service vehicle.
Through the digitalization of the water supply system, the newly established Monitoring Center will gain full control and oversight of all network zones within the city. Upon completion, Herceg Novi’s Water Utility will achieve one of its key objectives — reducing technical water losses water supply network.
The WATERLINK project also includes the development of a GIS-based digital pipeline network, as well as hydraulic calculations and water balance analyses for the regional water supply system that serves Herceg Novi, Trebinje, and Konavle.
