The 2nd Call for Proposals within the EmBRACE Small Project Fund (SPF), funded by the Interreg VI-A IPA Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro is officially closed. The call, which aims to enhance the competitiveness of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the cross-border area, was open from October 1, 2025, until December 15, 2025.

The call attracted significant interest from the MSEs in the cross-border region. A total of 113 project proposals were submitted, requesting a total of €20.109.595,61 in funding. The total budget available for co-financing projects under this 2nd Call is €3,000,000.00, while the total requested amount is significantly higher, highlighting the strong entrepreneurial spirit and the demand for innovation support in the region.

Participation Statistics: The submitted proposals involve a total of 295 micro and small enterprises acting as partners. The geographical distribution of partners is as follows:

  • Croatia: 113 partners
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina: 104 partners
  • Montenegro: 78 partners

Regarding the partnership structure, 69 project proposals involve project partners from all three participating countries, while 44 proposals involve partners from two countries.

Next Steps: Following the closure of the call, the assessment and selection process has commenced. Applicants will be informed about the results after the completion of the assessment process.
