The RECIRCLE project presented its key results and achievements at its Final Conference, held on October 20 2026 at Hilton Podgorica, Montenegro. The event brought together project partners and stakeholders to review the progress made in improving waste management practices and promoting circular economy principles through cross-border cooperation.
The conference highlighted the project’s practical results, public engagement activities and tools developed to support more sustainable resource management in local communities. Presentations covered the project’s pilot action, communication and educational activities, and initiatives aimed at raising public awareness of responsible waste management and the circular economy.
Participants were also introduced to the Guidelines for the Circular Economy and the ReSource Hub, a knowledge base designed to provide information and support the wider adoption of circular economy practices. The programme also included a screening of the RECIRCLE project video, showcasing key moments from the project’s implementation.
The conference provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and reflect on the results achieved through cooperation between partners from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. RECIRCLE highlights the importance of combining practical waste management solutions with education, communication and community involvement to encourage more responsible resource use.
As the project approaches the end of its implementation, the knowledge, tools and experience developed through RECIRCLE project can provide a foundation for continued efforts to improve waste management and promote circular economy principles beyond the project’s duration.
