The ClimBeach project was presented at an international event held in Neum on 24 April 2026, organized within the framework of the PREBIODUNES project. The lead partner, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy (FGAG) at the University of Split, introduced the project’s objectives, as well as the activities carried out to date and the results achieved.

Such events play a vital role in fostering the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices.

International student conference Valja Nama Preko 2026

From 11 to 14 March 2026, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy at the University of Mostar hosted the international student conference Valja Nama Preko 2026, organized by the Faculty’s Student Union.

This jubilee 10th edition of the conference was also its largest to date, bringing together students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Serbia. Over the past decade, the conference has connected future engineers, encouraged knowledge exchange, and strengthened academic cooperation across the region.

Project partners are particularly proud to have had the opportunity to present the ClimBeach project and share ideas and experiences with colleagues from across the region. Such events further inspire us to develop innovative solutions and reinforce collaboration among young professionals.

Training of Trainers Workshop within the GeoConnect Project

On 12 March 2026, a Training of Trainers – Enhanced Institutional Capacity workshop was held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy at the University of Mostar, as part of the GeoConnect project.

The workshop was led by Dr Dimo Todorovski from the University of Twente, contributing to the strengthening of institutional capacities and the exchange of knowledge in the field. The ClimBeach project was presented during the workshop, providing students with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the project, its activities, and its future plans and objectives.
