The RECIRCLE project took part in the “Open Days of EU Projects” event in Zadar, coordinated by the Croatian Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.
The initiative aims to bring EU-funded projects closer to citizens by showcasing activities and tangible results that contribute to sustainable development and improve the quality of life in local communities across Croatia.

During the event, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about numerous projects implemented by ZADRA NOVA, including TOURAL, AdriaClimPlus, TransH2, GUSTI, bePrepARed, ECOFOODCYCLE, BLUESLINKS, ADCCAM2ZERO, FutureECOS, APOLLO, RECIRCLE, Otporan arhipelag, Realist, AdriACTIVE and IDRON.

As part of the RECIRCLE presentation, project activities related to strengthening waste management systems and promoting circular economy principles were introduced to the public. Particular attention was given to activities supporting separate waste collection, recycling, reuse, and educational initiatives encouraging sustainable practices within local communities.
The celebration also included the participation of local schools and organisations, whose students presented educational, creative and interactive activities covering topics such as health awareness, gastronomy, robotics, design, environmental protection and opportunities for young people through European initiatives.

The event highlighted the importance of cooperation, public engagement, and education in promoting European values and supporting sustainable local development.
