During the implementation of the projects contracted under the 2nd Call for Proposals, savings in the amount of approximately EUR 1,300,000.00 (EU funds) were achieved.
Calculation of the achieved savings was possible only after the majority of the contracted projects had finished their implementation and submitted their final reports. All seven (7) projects which are currently still being implemented were requested by the Joint Secretariat (JS) to express their interest for receiving additional funds and possibly extending their implementation end date.
After the careful examination of all received proposals for the distribution of the saved funds by the Managing Authority (MA), the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) approved the MA’s proposal that achieved savings should be distributed to the following six (6) projects:
This redistribution of savings will ensure optimal absorption of the available funds by the end of the implementation of our Programme.
