Programme in numbers
In the 1st Call for Proposals, launched in 2016, 24 projects were contracted in order to implement their project proposals throughout the Croatian, Bosnian and Herzegovinian and Montenegrin cross-border area. A total of 24.134.469,20 EUR was contracted for these projects.

The 2nd Call for Proposals was opened from 19 September 2018 to 20 December 2018. A total of 161 applications dealing with cross-border issues were received via eMS. Joint Monitoring Committee approved 30 projects on 29 and 30 October 2019. The first projects started with implementation on 15 February 2020, whereas the last projects have been contracted on 1 March 2021.
What are we funding?
In order to achieve the Programme goal of strengthening the social, economic and territorial development of the Programme area, all projects co-financed by the Programme must contribute to identified challenges and opportunities. These challenges address public health and social care issues, environment protection and energy efficiency, tourism and heritage, competitiveness and business environment, as defined in Priority Axes and Specific Objectives.

Protecting the environment and nature, improving risk prevention and promoting sustainable energy and energy efficiency

To promote utilization of renewable energy resources and energy efficiency

Contributing to the development of tourism and preserving cultural and natural heritage

To enhance institutional infrastructure and services in order to accelerate the competitiveness and development of business environment in the programme area
